Hosting God’s presence in our meeting means that God, through the working of the Holy Spirit, has to be the central focus of all that we do as a Restoration Group. The Holy Spirit can use each of us to build up one another as we are open to His guidance.
A cell is more like a family than it is like a meeting. Successful groups are made up of people who are more concerned about what they can give rather than what they can get. There are certain things we can do that help our relationships.
Discipleship Values are foundational to your walk with Jesus. The Bible is God’s Word. It outlines the standard by which our attitudes and behavior are to be measured. The challenge is to always bring our lives up to the standard of Truth and not adjust the standard of Truth to line up with our lives.
Christ’s body needs each of us to be healthy and whole. Maintaining healthy and strong relationships and each of us using our gifts to do our part causes the body to grow in Christ and be built up in love. Find your place in the life of your cell group. You are needed.
Jesus turned this way of thinking upside down. He said put His kingdom first and all these other things that God knows that you need and are important to you will be added to you. To seek His kingdom first means that we order our lives around the things and activities that will draw us closer to Him. Things that are important to God become important to us.
Your heavenly Father has a heart of blessing for you. He wants to give you his identity as His son or daughter. He has chosen you and you are His. He wants to bring meaning to your life. A life of peace, rest, joy and purpose. He extends His love toward you to give you hope, security, and a blessed future.
